The price is the same regardless of the number of leeches applied or the duration of the therapy, which we determine at our own discretion according to the pathology, the individual's state of health, the site of application, age, weight and other factors.

The most common question that arises is how many therapy sessions are required for a particular condition. There is no exact answer, because it is impossible to predict in advance how the body will respond or to know the extent of the imbalance within it. In certain patients, for example because of a low haemoglobin level in the blood, it is necessary to work with a smaller number of leeches, and the applications may also be shorter.

Example: Type 2 diabetes can lead to elevated blood pressure, cardiovascular disease and damage to the nervous system; it affects sight and hearing, and kidney damage, complications in the legs and other issues occur. Treating someone in whom the consequences of diabetes have already manifested is more demanding than treating someone in whom diabetes has only just appeared. Even so, in the latter case we must not overlook the fact that the therapies need to support the eyes, the heart, circulation, the kidneys…
