Our view
Over the years we have spent working with hirudotherapy, we have had the opportunity to follow many fascinating and encouraging experiences of people who chose therapy with medicinal leeches. At the same time, we came to realise that a single method is sometimes not enough for a holistic understanding of a person and their challenges. That is why we have continually sought out new knowledge and a broader perspective on the processes that influence health and well-being.
A special milestone on our journey was meeting Professor Albert Ivanovich Krashenyuk in St. Petersburg. It was there that we were given the opportunity for an in-depth study of the systemic approach to hirudotherapy, which the professor had developed over decades of research, clinical observation and practical work.
The systemic method of leech therapy also significantly shaped our understanding of homeostasis, that is, the body's inner balance. It taught us that many problems do not develop overnight, and that the process of returning to balance often requires time, patience and a gradual approach.
A person's well-being is influenced by many factors, from hereditary predispositions and the living environment to habits, stress, ways of thinking and everyday choices. For this reason, we believe it makes sense to consider a person holistically, and not merely through individual symptoms.
In our view, the medicinal leech is an exceptionally interesting therapeutic tool, since its action involves numerous processes that science is still researching. Researchers' attention is drawn to the bioactive substances in leech saliva, as well as to other mechanisms of action connected with microcirculation, the nervous system and the body's regulatory processes.

In our work we have often met people who hoped for quick solutions to problems that had been developing for years or even decades. Experience has taught us that more lasting change usually requires time, cooperation and persistence.
For this reason, with the systemic approach we devote a great deal of attention right at the outset to explaining the entire process. Each individual decides for themselves how much time and energy they wish to dedicate to their own progress. The therapies are not aimed at promises of quick results, but rather at gradually supporting the body in establishing the best possible balance and well-being.
We believe that patience, trust in the process and a readiness for longer-term change are often the most important factors on the path towards better well-being.
